Lakai Introduces The Bristol, A Vulcanized Model That Challenges The Standard Cupsole

Lakai’s Bristol, for 2018 – $70

We’ve all heard the same marketing story again and again of a vulcanized skate shoe that offers the perks of a cupsole. Y’know, protection, durability, and support- the winning combination.

Lakai might just have the model to back up this claim with their new 2018 offering, the Bristol. As the first team model from the Lakai camp in the New Year, it’s quite literally a breath of fresh air. From the upper to the sole, everything you’ll find on the Bristol is brand new. The last is newly constructed and has never been used before in any previous models, as is the insole and high-performance outsole.

The Bristol in Gold/Blue – $70

The Delux-Lite footbed is a premium foam with a deep heel-cup to ensure stability while the contoured arch creates a perfect resting place for your foot. The Hex tread pattern on the newly introduced PARA-MOUNT outsole was designed to provide maximum boardfeel. Each Hex moves independently on the outsole, which allows for 360 degrees of flexibility.

If you’re looking for an entirely new approach to footwear design, find the Bristol at your local shop or online for $70.

Picked up a pair of these at my local shop. Waiting for my Griffins to wear out and for summer and the snow to go before I start using them. They feel great on my feet though.
