SUPRA & Jim Greco Deliver A Stylish Skate Shoe For 2018

One of, if not the most fascinating aspects of Jim Greco is his penchant for unpredictability. From tricks to varying adornments, you always have some sort of idea of what might come but are never square on the nose.

Skateable dress-inspired shoes aren’t anything new but are still in the vast minority of skate shoe subgenres. Our count is around 0.049%, as far as recent memory goes, and the number doesn’t change much as far as who’ll attach their name to it. That said, who’s more suited than Greco to carry the torch on this section of the relay?

The story here seems simple enough. A background of influence and a foreground of execution.

These look a bit more toward the standard skateable end than, say, Dylan or Austyn’s take (which skated great, but sure didn’t look like they would), but clearly find the balance between a traditional skate look and a lunchtime sesh in the office parking garage.

SUPRA’s had their best year (design-wise) in several, and we’d love to see them finish strong with these. But – skate them or rock them on casual Friday?
