Taking the basic idea of the initial Hupper and expanding on it in every way except for up, HUF has a winner on their hands with the Hupper 2 Lo.
Aside from being notably lower in profile, the Hupper 2 differs in every way that matters as far as skateability is concerned; while the initial version was more of a lifestyle model, this one means business on the streets.
The raised foxing tape and additional layering of stitched protection may be the most obvious shifts in durability and protection, but what you don’t see is an underlying rubber toecap built for as extended of a flick life as possible. A suede toecap makes for a timeless feeling and the long panel above the foxing tape only adds to the support factor – which is complimented by a nice dual density insole.
In attempting to create a durable and supportive vulc, HUF has succeeded in all areas. The Hupper 2 is now available for $65.
