Nike SB To Reissue The Zoom FC In Collaboration With FTC

After celebrating the Dunk’s historic 15 years, Nike SB looks back at their heritage with re-release of the Zoom FC. The late 2003 team model has been celebrated by many and with the embrace of the T-toe in full effect, the timing is perfect.

After numerous sightings of the shoe throughout social media, the newly updated throwback SB model has consumers split in half. While some are happy to have their nostalgic model back, some are divided by the updated Lunarlon sole in place of the original sole.

While full details of the release are still pending, we can surmise that the return of the Zoom FC will be celebrated alongside SF’s FTC. With suede paneling sitting on perforated leather for breathability throughout the upper, this grey/black/gold colorway is certainly an eye-catcher.

The cost of the shoe is estimated at $90-100 and looks to be debuting in April. We’ll keep you updated as the details of this shoe develops.

So. Fuggin. Stoked. My two pairs that I bought on eBay delaminated. The EVA wedge had dried up and messed with the glue in the last 12 years. I think these will skate better with a Lunar midsole, and assumedly a strobel construction rather than the OG’s, which had the stiffer board-last construction.

Nice. I still have my Nike SB x Blueprint Skateboards Abington collab. from 2007, which was an adaptation of a Nike soccer shoe with a t-toe that predates the FC shoes.
