In light of Lakai’s many developing models, it’s easy to lose track of some updated colorways in a sea of beautiful shoes. While the Crailtap camp has been busier than ever, we had to stop keeping our eyes on their moves from the addictive Weak Days video series for some luscious footwear developments.
The beauty of Lakai and their Anchor program is that local skate shops that support the brand receive models and colorways that can’t be found anywhere else; sometimes not even online 🙁 This Anchor program is exclusive to local skate shops and as such, we’re seeing this beauty of a colorway thanks to the good guys at Homebase 610 in PA.
The stone upper and black sole on these give off the OG look and feel that you can’t find in many skate shoes today. More impressively, the Staple’s upper is made up of three different materials, which makes this model even more desirable in all of its intricacies. The mostly suede upper, followed by canvas hints throughout the heel and leather throughout the eyestay makes this update impeccable.
Probably most notable of all is it’s more than reasonable price point at $70. If you’re looking for these, good luck finding them unless your local skate shop is a part of Lakai’s Anchor program.
