Emerica Draws From Their Heritage With The “Centry” And New “Reynolds G6” Pro Model

Introducing Andrew Reynolds’ upcoming pro model, The Reynolds G6. Debuting in Fall 2017.

In anticipation of 2017’s offerings, expectations are higher than they’ve ever been and even more impressively, they’re already being met, if not passed. With MADE Chapter 2 serving as the quintessential marketing story, Emerica is following up their highly-acclaimed video with a number of eye-catching models. The shoes in question are not your average release, as these models draw inspiration from Emerica’s rich heritage.

The first of the two notable models comes in the form of a hybrid from Andrew Reynolds’ iconic catalog. The Reynolds G6 is The Boss’ first and second pro models combined into one remarkable shoe. In blending nostalgia and modern technology, Emerica has created a model that pleases the masses. Featuring an OG double stitched toe panel, the Reynolds G6 stays true to its ancestry with a subtle rubber injection beneath the suede toe and draws design cues from his classic first pro model.

Emerica’s newest team model, the Centry. Available Fall 2017.

Emerica’s latest team model is sure to remind old heads of a shoe they deeply miss. For those who don’t recognize this Fall 2017 model, it’s Jamie Thomas’ 1997 pro model from Emerica. No official word if this re-release of sorts was greenlit by The Chief himself, but we can all agree that this design is just as fitting today as it was then. The cupsole construction, molded rubber toe, and renowned colorway is sure to turn heads.

No set prices or exact dates have been released yet, but what do you think of these 2017 releases? And what other re-releases would you like to see come from Emerica?

That re-release they had in 09 was horrible, it was way too stiff and the rubber was slippery

Agreed, I got some ‘OG’s’ and was so disappointed, I compared them to a friend’s pair from ’02 and mine were almost double the size! No idea why they changed the rerelease up so much.

Make a Navy blue version with a white outsole and gum rubber sole and I will skate them with out sock all day long. I haven’t even considered buying emerica for years but now, yes. And put Jamie Thomas on, legacy wise.
