Adidas Skateboarding Announces Their First Release Of 2017 With The Samba ADV

Adidas Samba ADV, out 1.1.17 – $75

Adding to their already notable line, Adidas has done what many have demanded for years and announced the release of their highly acclaimed Samba in ADV form. Building off of their rich soccer heritage, the debut of this iconic model comes as a natural evolution for the three-striped brand.

Expectations of the Samba ADV are high; the return of the T-toe is questionable amongst certain consumers, but nonetheless, Adidas is pushing design past a one-piece toe or rubber toe with this change in aesthetic. Sitting atop a leather and suede upper, the Samba is built on a cupsole construction along with a familiar tread pattern.

The Samba ADV will be available at specialty Adidas retailers in the U.S. and the adidas Skateboarding website starting January 1. The Samba ADV will retail for $75.

Hey there RL Staff!! Is the Samba ADV the same as the t-toe shoe that my man Dennis Busenitz talked about in your interviews? I’m honestly excited for this shoe!!!

Pusha D, this is the shoe that Dennis was talking about, but the main difference is that his version is Vulcanized. We’ll keep you posted with that news asap.

The “Samba Skate” that came out many moons ago was a bit of a let-down, hopefully Adidas remedied the mistakes. Looks great in my opinion! Tasteful changes that keep the look, feel, and character of the original. Since the OG Samba is a more than decent shoe to skate on its own, I’m very much looking forward to this!

The og samba was the shoes you had to get at a sports stores that looked semi skateable because they were on sale and your parents were taking you to get kicks…no one I knew purposley got them to skate in. Maybe styling but yeah never to skate. Maybe some euros skated them because that is all they had. e’S and DC was like 200 euros over there. I am gonna hard pass on these. Unless they put boost foam in the midsole. That shit is so legit.

I’ve got the new Busenitz w/ the T-Toe – somehow they were released without any proper introduction! White w/ Black stripes and gum sole. So sick!
