As the shoe of choice for many, Nike SB’s Blazer has been a beloved go-to for some time. No matter the silhouette, whether Hi, Mid (remember BA’s colorway?) or Low, the shoe’s popularity hasn’t dipped regardless of the season. Naturally, a shoe as timeless as the Blazer can easily conform to a company as ambiguous as Alex Olson’s brand, Call Me 917.
This limited edition capsule brought a style to the treasured Blazer like we’ve never seen before. The Country Club theme holds true as the red, white and blue grosgrain stripe is found throughout the collection, but most notably acting as lace loops atop both featured colorways. While we’d highly recommend both the white and navy colorway of the Blazer GT, there’s something incredibly eye-catching about the latter pair.
Without question, the minimalistic branding and stylings of Call Me 917 elevate this already highly regarded model to the next echelon. The perforated swoosh not only provides additional breathability, but also pushes the shoe’s unique design; a detail that only those within close range can see to fully appreciate.
The Nike SB X Call Me 917 Blazer GT Low can be found at local skate shops for $90, but that’s if you can find them. This highly anticipated Quickstrike will go fast.
