#JkJhnsn’s Favorite Shoe Will Be Your Favorite Soon

Even though Dr.Z’s been providing us with endless evidence of how flawless his switch game is, make no mistake that both him & Jake Johnson will be sporting the Weapon Skate in the coming months. The iconic basketball sneaker has been transformed to fit the needs of skaters and looks to be performing at a stellar level.

After getting word that Jake’s been skating in nothing but the Weapon Skate, we couldn’t help but notice how great the chemistry must be between Jake and this puffy skate shoe. While affiliates continue to argue as to which skate shoe was the last of the puffy era (before the vulcanize craze took over), it looks as though that debate will have to be put on hold after the resurgence of the Weapon Skate. While some look at the Weapon in disgust, others gleam with joy at its heavy demeanor. Seeing as how it’s no secret, we’re sure Jake is loving the Weapon for what it is after coming off a long stint of skating black on black Accels. Who knows, maybe a shoe from 1995 actually does have a chance to co-exist in 2014…

Although Jake wasn’t seen skating the Weapon’s in his Static 4 part, we can reassure you that it’s currently his shoe of choice (peeps at Cons told us during Agenda). The shoe’s classic design and color schemes are more than enough to win us over but the fact that #JkJhnsn is backing them makes the Weapon that much more appealing. More so, it comes with a Lunarlon sockliner and a memory foam tongue- reminiscent of the Cons line of skate shoes back in the mid 2000’s. The only difference now is that they’re slightly priced higher due to their added quality. The Weapon Skate sits at $85. We’re looking forward towards taking a break from one piece toe caps with the Weapon Skate. More info as to how they skate in the coming weeks.

Bring back good old cupsoles! Sick and tired of those thin rubber vulcs.

Whites and all blacks are nice and hopefully they will do black suede + gum sole with optional white laces on some early 2000s ish. These kinda remind me of the Adio – Montoya V4 model. Very sure these will be the dunk equivalent.

Can you hide all the laces or just the bottom two holes?

They give me AF1 black uncle vibes. Those beige ones should come with big shorts, a chain, and some Newports
