In search of Westgate’s latest pro model

The Runner Toe is finally coming back. Fuck yes.

The Runner Toe is finally coming back. Fuck yes.

For a New Yorker, getting a line at the monumental Astor Place Cube means that you can die peacefully (if you don’t die from oncoming traffic in the process). In other cases, it just means that you’re rolling through to St Marks place to pick up some expensive vintage button-up’s, a new weed accessory or just to make it to the TF. It’s also the spot to go to for Slappy Sunday’s in NY. Learn more about Astor Place here. More recently, it’s been the spot where we saw Westgate skating some shoes that look nothing like Emerica’s, well not in the last decade at least. There’s been some steady murmuring going around about how his upcoming shoe is going to blow minds, but then again that can be said about everything that Emerica’s been doing as of late.

(Go 720HQ if the settings haven’t already to get a better look at our version of Moby Dick)

In the coming week, we’ve been told that this new Westgate shoe is actually going to be somewhere onine. Be sure to check-in then, we’ll probably dork out and have a post about it. It’ll be similar to our dedicated “Rubber Toe Caps are Back” post.
