The DC Nyjah S has been a long time coming. The fearless teen who’s practically earned his stripes as a veteran due to all of his earlier work is finally getting his own shoe with DC skateboarding. As many of you might know from our previous DC reviews, they’ve really assembled some of the best models in recent years and have no intentions of stopping that trend. The Nyjah S might resemble one of the longstanding models within the DC catalog, the Landau S, but don’t be fooled. It has enough character to define itself as a brand new model with a different feel and offerings. For instance, the new Impact G technology is made for the same type of skating that Nyjah has practically perfected. For anyone looking for a shock absorbent cupsole, the Nyjah S will fit those needs.
In the coming weeks, we’ll have a full review of the Nyjah S and give you all the info you’ll need to see if you’ll be picking these up for your next skate shoe. In the meantime, know that they’re true to size for a cupsole and that DC’s super suede is fully covering the toe. If they’re anything like the Centric, they’ll last beyond our 20 hour review.
