First Glance: DC NYJAH S

The DC Nyjah S has been a long time coming. The fearless teen who’s practically earned his stripes as a veteran due to all of his earlier work is finally getting his own shoe with DC skateboarding. As many of you might know from our previous DC reviews, they’ve really assembled some of the best models in recent years and have no intentions of stopping that trend. The Nyjah S might resemble one of the longstanding models within the DC catalog, the Landau S, but don’t be fooled. It has enough character to define itself as a brand new model with a different feel and offerings. For instance, the new Impact G technology is made for the same type of skating that Nyjah has practically perfected. For anyone looking for a shock absorbent cupsole, the Nyjah S will fit those needs.

In the coming weeks, we’ll have a full review of the Nyjah S and give you all the info you’ll need to see if you’ll be picking these up for your next skate shoe. In the meantime, know that they’re true to size for a cupsole and that DC’s super suede is fully covering the toe. If they’re anything like the Centric, they’ll last beyond our 20 hour review.

Nyjah not pro?? What pair of Trackers have you been residing under?? He’s professional for Element Skateboards. By the way, Dyrdek now owns Alien Workshop ‘ES no longer makes shoes, and Koston is hoping for a retirement check from NIKE!!! Just in case those went over your head too!!

If these cupsoles were all leather, despite my hate against him, I would want these shoes.

If impact G is anything like Under Armour’s Micro G, arguably the comfiest cushioning in a basketball shoe, with this ortholite sockliner, I think they’ll be one of the most cush pairs of shoes to skate in.

Not the most style, but very functional; just like Nyjah.

Just not diggin the leather heel cup or red accents, and looks over-all outdated. But I’m sure its comfortable, durable and skates great.
