Giveaway: Nike Hybred Boot

If you’ve been paying attention to our instagram, you’ll notice that we’re currently waiting for YOU to review a pair of the Nike Hybred Boot. Many of you may be scratching your heads because who in their right mind would giveaway $110 skate shoes….We were clearly never taught the value of money.

In giving away a pair of these Hybred Boot’s, essentially we’re challenging the idea that if you pay more, you’ll receive more. If these shoes are twice as much as we’d pay for skate shoes, then by all means, they should perform better. Such was the case with the Supra Skytop 3s when we reviewed them. Although they are still the most expensive skate shoes we’ve ever had the pleasure of skating, they’re certainly worth every penny. The Skytop 3 durability has since been the best we’ve seen during our review process and we’re wondering if the same can be said about the Nike Hybred Boot. The Hybred Boot is $20 cheaper than a Skytop 3 but should still be weighted in the same class considering they’re “over the $100 mark” price.

In order to enter, simply send a email to info@RippedLaces.com, forward over any Youtube or Vimeo links you have of yourself skating and state why you think you should do this $110 review.

The winner of these shoes will be responsible for the written or filmed review, photos and ultimately determine if the Nike Hybred Boot is worth the pricetag. It’s sounds like a lot of work but if you’re about it, hit us up. In the meantime, we’re working on addressing this Janoski rumor we’ve been hearing about. Apparently it’s gone down in quality. All of you have mentioned it, given your testimonies, including photos in some cases, but we want to find out if this is ultimately true or simply an issue of a few defective pairs getting out. Everyone seems to be split on this issue so we’re conducting an experiment of our own that will hopefully be the end all, be all, of this issue. Wait for it to come out next month.

yea I’ve got a pair of janoskis that im skating right now and all I’ve got to say is goddamn do they take way too long to break in even after a month plus of walking in them they still performed like shit as do many shoes when they are first skated but after a few more sesh’s they’re performing fine but still i wouldn’t buy another pair due to the fact that they probably have the largest insole and out sole that I’ve skated so far if you’re looking for a shoe with great board feel i would recommend the Daewon song shoe out on DVS I’m pretty sure they’re called the 12-er or something but they don’t last very long
